My name is Emily Abitz and I am currently a student at California State University, Long Beach. I am working towards a bachelor's degree in Health Science, Community Health Education and plan to graduate in the Spring of 2022.

 

Upon acquisition of a Bachelor's degree I plan to complete the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) examination with intent to begin my journey in health promotion at community centers, schools, hospitals, and public health agencies. Following certification, I anticipate acceptance into an accredited Master’s Speech-Language Pathology program where I can demonstrate the skills I have acquired in program planning and needs assessment throughout my educational journey.
