Is it just to require laws that demand that an abortion provider discloses a juvenile’s desire for an abortion to a parent or require that the parent(s) grant written compliance prior to the abortion procedure? To take matters into my own hands, I wrote a letter to Senate member Cindy Hyde-Smith in hopes of promoting change for the female youth in Mississippi. This project pertains to Area VI of the Health Educator Competencies because it is a mechanism to communicate with a higher authority in order to encourage reform through policy.
