This assignment is geared toward the promotion of a Community Based Organization targeting a specific health behavior. WEAVE, is a non-profit organization here in Sacramento, CA serving victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking through education and resources. This project is a great example of Area VI of the Health Educator Competencies as it requires research, promotion, and suggestions for individuals who relate to the health behavior.
